All too often, when an organization looks at organizational change, its looked at from a single view such as people or process or technology. We need to do all three at the same time. In these engagements, I take a methodical approach (complexity based on need/gap) to assess and solution the need. Depending on the need, a change could be transitional such as building in continuous improvement or skills improvement opportunities or it could be truly transformational, such as a complete restructure of teams, skills, roles, processes, systems, etc. I will take a business architecture approach of looking at challenges and needs within context of the environment and look at best practice capabilities for the area. I will then help you identify an appropriate operating model inclusive of structures, processes, products & services, roles & responsibilities, skills & career development, etc. I have experience doing large transformative change in the following areas: moving from traditional IT to services based operating and delivery models (ITIL v4), moving from services based delivery models to DevOps delivery models, and moving from traditional IT and Business governance to empowered Business Technology governance. Experience also includes establishing new practices including: risk & security, enterprise architecture, business analysis, business relationship management, process management, DevOps, product management, emerging technology, service desks, service management, change management, problem management, major incident management and business continuity.
